Northern Ireland’s most exciting guitar act are back. Building on the DIY energy and attitude of their debut ‘Mouthbreatherz’, Cherym return with their latest single ‘ Abigail ’ - a track that reflects the sophisticated pop sound and colourful punk personalities which sets the pop-punk three piece apart from their contemporaries.

Fuelled by the same addictive guitar licks and vocal melodies that made their debut both a critical and popular hit, their latest work reflects the progression of a group that has went from organising their own shows to performing at Stendhal, Indiependence and Electric Picnic in the same summer. With an emotional core that incorporates frustration and heartbreak with summertime riffs, compelling harmonies and an in-your-face urgency, ‘Abigail’ is the sound of an act about to make the leap from indie-darlings to the next big thing.

Fresh off a win at 2019’s Northern Ireland Music Prize, Cherym look to Abigail as a new chapter in their story, one that sees them emerge from Ireland and onto an international level.
