Today, global star on-the-rise DERMOT KENNEDY releases his long-awaited debut album ‘WITHOUT FEAR’, available now via all DSPs.
The record, which Dermot has worked diligently to deliver over the past two years in between a huge global touring schedule, showcases incredibly his craftsmanship and dedication to music, proving his talent for earnest storytelling while working alongside the likes of Koz (Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa, Meek Mill), Starsmith, Carey Willetts and Sir Nolan (Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne) to produce the record and Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes, Chance The Rapper, Julia Michaels) who was exec producer on the project.
No. 1 Irish single single ‘Outnumbered’ has topped over 60 million streams alone. “Outnumbered” peaked at #1 on the Irish Airplay Charts and has remained in the Top 5 for the past eight weeks. Dermot will perform ‘Outnumbered’ on The Jonathan Ross Show tomorrow night, his first evening prime-time performance in the UK, which follows US appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Ellen Show where he wowed crowds with performances of previous single ‘Power Over Me’. ‘Power Over Me’ reached #1 in the airplay charts in France, Germany and Belgium and reached Triple Platinum in Ireland, Platinum in the Netherlands and Switzerland and Gold in Canada. In total Dermot has topped over 670m streams worldwide to date.
The highly-anticipated record arrives ahead of the singer’s biggest run of tour dates yet, including two sold out dates at London’s Eventim Apollo on December 2nd and 3rd and finishing with his biggest ever SOLD OUT headline shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on December 22nd and 23rd; culminating with a total 120,000 tickets sold across his European dates this autumn alone. The tour follows a career highlight marathon of sold-out shows around North America, the UK and Europe, including a staggering four nights at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, as well as a show stopping set at Coachella in April as part of his US tour.
