Five Grand Stereo are a London-based band with a strong Irish contingent and members from across Europe. They are: Dubliner Chris Singleton (vocals, guitar, piano); Limerick singer Jane Fraser (vocals); Greek Cypriot Stelios Kalisperides (guitars); Englishman Michael Kirkland (sax, synths and BVs); Spaniard / Englishman Zane Maertens (bass) and Welshman Ben Woollacott (drums).
"The idea behind Five Grand Stereo", says lead songwriter Chris Singleton, "is to take a 1970s band, shove them in a time machine, deposit them in the present day and ask them to make a record about the world they find themselves in."
